Vitamin C or Vitamin D?

We have always known this that, allowing the morning sun to touch us on our skin is a very great way of getting Vitamin C.

Maybe that was true.

But a genuine fact is that, getting exposed to the sun can really damage your skin badly

It can cause you to have cancer, wrinkles, spots, sunburn, and darkening.

And getting adequate vitamin C can be the best regimen to tackle any effects of the sun on your skin

Then, if the sun is the source of vitamin C, how is it that you still need vitamin C to correct the damages of the sun on your skin.

So you have to accept the truth: you don't get vitamin C from the sun!

Rather, you get vitamin D.

And FYI, you can't get vitamin D from the hot sun.

What you mostly get from the hot sun is UVA and UVB, the sun rays that damage the skin.

Now, Vitamin D is really beneficial to the body, because it really helps the muscles and nerves, it strengthen the bone and teeth, and it boost the immune system.

So, it's very okay you get vitamin D from the sun.

But wait...

Getting exposed to the sun always can damage your skin severely, how is it that you need vitamin D from the sun at all cost?

Smart, you can also get vitamin D from your diet too.

In fact, the best place to get any nutrients is through your food.

You can get vitamin D from foods like beef liver, mushrooms, cereals, and seafoods.

Eating these kinds of food add a lot of benefits to your body system. Benefits such like:

1. strengthening your bone

2. lowering your blood pressure

3. Reducing the risk of type 2 diabetics

4. preventing some kind of cancer

5. Suppressing arthritis

6. Reducing heart diseases

7. Getting enough calcium

Having said that, according to research, the sun is still the best source of getting vitamin D.

But, Notwithstanding, you shouldn't dry yourself in the sun, or get too exposed to the sun because you want to get any vitamin.

The right time to get vitamin D from the sun, is early in the morning, when the sun is just coming out, and at noon when the sun is no more hurting.

If you can get minimal sunshine that is not hurting, you'll get enough vitamin D, along with the appropriate benefits.

Therefore, do get vitamin D from mild sunshine and your food daily, and you’ll surely get all the necessary benefits you need to get from vitamin D.
